The display has a bright backlight for high visibility in any situation. To minimize leaks the SVG3 has a schrader depressor that can connect directly to your core removal tool, or directly to the service port. Fewer connections reduce the potential for leaks unrelated to the system. The rate indicator helps determine if there are any leaks within the system.

When the vacuum reaches the low alarm set point, an audible alarm triggers, the backlight flashes, and the integrated stopwatch restarts to show the technician how long the system has maintained a deep vacuum. You can set both high and low alarms. And the timer can display how long it took to get to the alarm and how long the vacuum has been maintained.
