Used with W973 logic panel to conserve energy during building unoccupied periods.
Provides heating setback and either cooling shutdown or cooling setup. During unoccupied periods, outdoor air damper is closed and system fan is switched from continuous to intermittent operation. In cooling setup mode, W974B automatically cycles fan with a call for heating, cooling or economizer. In cooling shutdown mode, W974B automatically cycles fan with a call for heating. Economizer provides first stage of cooling in cooling setup mode.
