E2V, E3V and E4V are proportional electronic expansion valves activated by a two-pole stepper motor. Control is performed using a calibrated stem that slides through on an opening, with 14 mm travel. The stem is positioned by a stepper motor with a range of around 500 steps. The correct mechanical balance guarantees significant stability of superheat control according to the set point and a rapid response to transient situations. The proportional control also ensures no pulsation in pressure on the refrigerant lines and greater control over the return of liquid to the compressor.
Features:
- External stator replaceable without dismantling the valve
- Gearless
- Movement on stainless steel ball bearings
- Tight when valve closed
- Control with flow in both directions
- Equipercentile variation of refrigerant flow-rate: ensures high precision control at low flow-rates
- ExV is available in different sizes, with cooling capacities of up to 250 kW, with different types of fittings (copper, brass, stainless steel).
