The AKV(H) valves are normally controlled by a controller from Danfoss’ range of ADAP- KOOL® controllers.
The AKV valves are supplied as a component program, as follows:

• Separate valve
• Separate coil with terminal box or cable
• Spare parts in the form upper part, orifice and filter
  Valve capacity is indicated with a number forming part of the type designation.
  The number represents the size of the orifice of the valve in question. A valve with orifice 3 will for example be designated AKV 10-3. The orifice assembly is replaceable.

AKV 10P and AKV10PS are electric operated expansion valves designed for refrigerating plants. The AKV 10P and AKV 10PS valves are normally controlled by a controller from the Danfoss range of ADAP- KOOL® controllers that ensure precise liquid injection into evaporators. The valves enable optimum utilization of the evaporator, increased energy efficiency, COP and improved overall system performance while being designed for use with a wide variety of refrigerants. Soft pulse operation provides for a low noise valve.
