The A25 warm air controls lock out on a temperature increase to the control set point. Manual reset is required before the electrical contacts can be reclosed.
The A25 is normally located in a return air duct and wired to shut down air conditioning or ventilating fans when the temperature of the air becomes excessive, as from a fire.
Construction with 125°F stop setting meets requirements of NFPA 90A, Standard for the installation of air conditioning and ventilating systems for return air ducts of gypsum board construction.
