The PTAC HVAC Air Purification System by RGF^® utilizes PHI Cell^® Technology. This small but powerful air purifier reduces odors, air pollutants, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), smoke, mold, bacteria and viruses. It is specifically designed for Packaged Terminal Air Conditioning units, for short PTAC, which are commonly found in hotel rooms, motel rooms, apartments, condominiums, senior-housing facilities, add-on rooms, sunrooms and hospitals. The product is easily mounted into a PTAC system without modification. When the HVAC system is in operation, the PTAC HVAC-PHI Cell creates an advanced oxidation process consisting of hydro-peroxides, super oxide ions and hydroxide ions. All are natural and friendly oxidizers. By friendly oxidizers, we mean oxidizers that revert back to oxygen and hydrogen after the oxidation/ elimination of the pollutant.
