An FME Series filter is effective in stand alone applications or as a prefilter in place of a disposable, permanent, or media pad/frame filter. Insituations where a significantly high degree of cleanliness and/or longer service life is desired, an FME pleated filter should be considered. A lofted, non-woven pleated filter media composed of cotton synthetic fibers makes up the FME media. When tested in accordance with ASHRAE testing method 52.1-1992, this fiber blend provides a 25-30% average efficiency and a 90-93% average arrestance and maximizes dust retention capabilities. The FME40 pleated filters are UL Listed, Class 2 approved. Testing on these products was performed in accordance with U.L. Standard 900.
