These driers are designed for installation in the reversing liquid line. The smaller HPC100 Series, using the standard catch-all core, is designed specifically for new installations and for use on OEM equipment.
The HPC160 and HPC300 Series incorporate the largest core size available in the industry per filter-drier type. A larger molded core provides superior performance, and is especially advantageous for R-410A/POE lubricant systems.
While intended for use in the reversing liquid line, these driers can be used in the reversing gas line, providing the system size does not exceed one ton.
