The C Series with special nonmetallic bonnet gaskets and Teflon seat inserts permit the use of these valves in service temperatures as high as 400°F. Bolted bonnets permit easy disassembly for soldering.
A metal-to-metal back seat, when valve is fully open, permits repacking under pressure.
The LPD (low pressure drop) angle valves are forged brass construction, seats are Teflon, and parts are interchangeable with comparable sizes of LPD globe line valves.

• Any Superior/Sherwood packed globe valve marked 500 psi has been approved for R410A applications and 700 psi working pressure
• Maximum temperature: 400°F
