The direct spark ignition unit is a microprocessor based gas ignition control designed primarily for direct ignition and burner supervision applications such as gas furnaces, boilers, water heaters and other similar devices. The system features direct main burner ignition, remote sensing, prepurge, retry for ignition and a fixed time for flame lockout time.
